Cat Tries to Get Virtual Mouse on Tablet in Adorable Video

Have you ever been using a device and had your cat plop down in front of it, sit on it, or just put its paw on the screen? Actually, it's unlikely that hasn't happened if you're a cat person. They really do like to get in the way of our devices when we're using them, but maybe it's because they want to play, too?
In a silly video of Instagram cat Pirate Kitty Kylo, the little feline shows how much fun tech-savvy cats can have. His humans put a tablet on the ground, with a game opened up that involves a mouse moving across the screen. His profile says this is one of his favorites, so the pirate cat is interested immediately.
Kylo zeroes in on the mouse, batting around on top of the screen to try to catch it. When he can't get it from the top, or when it disappears, he smartly puts his paw underneath the device to see if he can reach it under there. He digs around beneath the screen a few times just to be sure.
The playful cat, whose page is filled with pirate-themed updates, continues to be enthralled with the elusive mouse over the course of the video. Maybe he wants to shiver its timbers? Or perhaps stow away some rodent booty?
Pirate Kitty Kylo's bio says he "is a rescue kitty / cat burglar who has traded in his life of crime to move in with a geeky family in north Brisbane, Australia." Maybe he can add aspiring exterminator to the list?
