She will get to live a long and healthy life in a loving home thanks in part to your support, so thank you! Read her full story below.

Meet Chica

This poor pup has been through a lot and needs your help. She was taken in as a stray and was sadly attacked by another dog during an unfortunate accident.

One of her front legs is severely injured and every step she takes is painful.

The stress and pain have taken a toll on her body. Thankfully, a local animal rescue came to Chica's rescue.

After being examined by a vet, the only option is to amputate the leg. Chica needs our support to get the care she needs.

The surgery and recovery will be a long and expensive journey. With your continued support, Greater Good Charities' Emergency Animal Medical fund is helping with her medical bills.

The one-year-old pup has her whole life ahead of her and deserves to walk and play again without pain. She will spend months in a foster home recovering before going on to find a forever home.

Help us raise $7,000 for Chica and pets like her. Donate now.

Click to Help James

James and his blind brother, William, were found abandoned on the street when they were just four weeks old. James was born with one blind eye that started to cause him discomfort. Over time, that eye became increasingly painful and irritated. James is the seeing-eye cat for his brother, making his condition even more urgent to treat.
