Arizona Humane Society assisted Phoenix Police Department in rescuing sixteen dogs from horrifying and heartbreaking conditions.
The dogs were found living in squalor and fearful of humans. They were never allowed outdoors which left the floor of the home covered "in approximately 8" of feces", according to rescuers.

No food or water was found during the rescue mission, and it is a miracle these dogs survived. Many of the dogs are suffering from untreated wounds, parasite infestations, and are severely malnourished.

Rescuers told us, "Two had severe dog bite wounds and others had a variety of skin issues."

They have a long and expensive road to recovery and need your help. With your continued support, Greater Good Charities' Emergency Animal Medical fund is helping with their medical bills.

These poor dogs need urgent medical care and to learn to trust humans again. They deserve a second chance to find a loving home.

Donate today to help fund their care and help restore their faith in humans.
