Krystina is flooded with calls for help for abandoned, homeless, and mistreated dogs. Even though she is already caring for 250 dogs at her shelter, Under the Sun, she can’t say no to a dog in need.

A recent rescue mission sent her to a village near the frontlines where she found two emaciated dogs who are barely able to stand. As she looked around the property, she found two deceased dogs who clearly died from starvation.

Heartbroken by the situation, Krystina is determined to save the Cane Corso and Doberman (who we are calling Lou and Barb) but needs your support.

Every bone in their frail bodies is visible, and they will need immediate medical care and months of rehabilitation for their best chance at survival.

They will need to slowly be reintroduced to food as their bodies have been starved for a long time. They have endured unimaginable suffering but are finally safe and will never go hungry again.

Donate today to help them get the care they need to survive.
