Meet Archie

The four-month-old lamb was found suffering on a farm from a severely broken leg with exposed bone.

Individuals visiting the farm to look at purchasing some sheep noticed the injured lamb and asked the farmer what he was going to do.

He said that he was going to shoot and kill him unless they wanted him.

They couldn't leave the poor lamb to such a cruel fate so they took him home and called Farm Angels Sanctuary for help.

Archie arrived at the sanctuary with a fever and in immense pain. Upon unwrapping the bandage, staff discovered that he is missing part of his leg and the remaining part is necrotic.

He was started on antibiotics, pain medication, and a new bandage was placed on his leg. The sanctuary stated this poor fella was "born on the wrong farm with people who have no regard for life."

Archie will need his leg amputated and then several weeks of physical therapy to adjust. He will need ongoing care until he recovers. Will you help him get the care he needs to heal?
