Meet Myan. 

This adorable kitten was born with funnel chest - an extremely rare and life-threatening condition - which means that she doesn't have enough room for her heart and lungs as she continues to grow. 

She was surrendered along with her brother as strays to a local rescue in Cape Town, South Africa called Rescue is Life. 

The eight-week-old kitten is already having some difficulty breathing and the only option is surgery. The life-saving surgery will enlarge her chest by sewing a small chest plate into her ribs and sternum to reshape the chest cavity and create more space. 

Myan has her whole life ahead of her but needs your support to survive and thrive. Will you help her get the care she needs? 

Greater Good Charities' Emergency Animal Medical fund was contacted by the rescue for help. The fund was created to give animals like Myan the second chance they deserve by funding emergency surgeries and ongoing care.
