Elderly Ukrainians Share Heartbreaking Survival Stories While Receiving Donated Blankets
Andrea Powell
February 24 marks the fourth anniversary of the war in Ukraine. There are so many people and animals still in need of support as they struggle to survive in the war-torn country.
Greater Good Charities (GGC) has been providing aid to those in need thanks to your continued support. However, the need is greater than ever as pet food runs dangerously low and power outages cause life-threatening conditions during coldest winter in years.

During a recent blanket distribution to survivors in Kherson, team members with GGC heard some of the survivors' heartbreaking stories.
The mostly elderly and immobile Ukrainians were displaced from their homes and lost everything they owned. They are now living together in hostels struggling to stay warm without power as bombs go off nearby.

Despite all that they have endured, they still have hope. Watch the video below to hear some of their stories and to see how your donations are helping those in need.
How You Can Help

Thank you so much for standing with Ukraine. We hope you will continue to help by donating much-needed pet food and blankets to people and pets in need. Every dollar helps.
