Emaciated Dog Near Death Finally Gets Help He Needs After Collapsing in Stranger's Garage
Andrea Powell
Sick and starving animals arrive daily at animal shelters and rescues across the country. Many of these animal shelters are already over capacity and struggling to feed all the homeless animals.
These innocent animals deserve a second chance. Your donations help feed and care for shelter pets like Reese. Read his story and learn how your support helped him survive and thrive.

The emaciated dog on death's door used the last ounce of strength he had to wander into a stranger's garage before collapsing. He was covered in fleas, ticks, and open wounds.
Every rib in his body was visible and he was severely dehydrated. He was discovered by the owner who immediately called Oklahoma Pet Collective Society for help.
The rescue rushed him to the hospital to try and save his life. He was started on IV fluids and remained at the hospital for three days.
Despite all the pain and suffering he has endured, he still wags his tail whenever someone pet him.

Reese will never go hungry again. The rescue shared, "Now he’s safe with us, starting his long road to recovery. Thank you to our amazing donors for the Ziwi high-quality dog food—your support is helping so many dogs like Reese gain weight and strength every single day and we are beyond grateful!"
