Emergency Flight to Freedom Headed to Georgia to Save Shelter Pets Amid Wildfires
Andrea Powell
Overcrowded shelters in southeast Georgia are facing another crisis - influx of lost and displaced animals from the massive wildfires.

Firefighters continue to battle the intense Highway 82 Fire, Pineland Rd Fire, and many others that continue to ignite in the severe drought conditions. Homes are being destroyed and displacing countless people and pets.

Under-resourced shelters were already struggling to care for all the animals at the shelter and now need to make room for those displaced by the fires. That is where you can help.
Together with our partner, Greater Good Charities, an Emergency Flight to Freedom will swoop in and rescue over 50 shelter pets that were already waiting for homes prior to the fires and fly them to freedom.

This will open up kennels for displaced animals who need a place to go until they are reunited with their families and give the shelter pets a second chance to find a loving home.
The fast-moving fires are devastating communities and they need our support now. Donate today to help fly shelter pets to safety. Every dollar helps.
