Firefighters and Deputy Save Four Cats from Burning Building and Perform CPR to Save Them
Andrea Powell
Riverside County Fire Depart and Sheriff's Office worked together to respond to a burning apartment building. All the residents were evacuated while firefighters searched the damaged apartments.
Inside one they found four cats suffering from smoke inhalation with three of them unconscious and not breathing. They rushed them outdoors where they immediately began CPR. A deputy also joined in to save the felines.

Riverside County Fire Department posted, "Three oxygen tanks were deployed, and the team continued resuscitation efforts. After several tense minutes, the cats began to regain consciousness… and soon were up and walking around. Because of the teamwork and determination of everyone on scene, all four cats survived."

These heroes refused to give up. Their department and countless others commended them for their efforts to save the cats. One person said it perfectly, "You didn’t just save a cat… you saved someone’s whole world."

A video was shared on their Instagram showing them hard at work. Check it out below and don't forget to share.
