'Tis the season of giving.

Many animal shelters are operating in crisis mode due to overcrowding. They are over capacity and more animals continue to arrive in need of food and care. 

You can help save lives and care for these homeless animals by purchasing a Care Package for Shelter Pets.

This GivingTuesday, we are hoping to send 10,000 care packages to shelter dogs and cats that include nutritious food, a cozy bed, and essential vaccinations. 

These packages will help struggling shelters and rescues care for all the homeless dogs and cats. Animals that are healthy, happy, and well-fed stand a much better chance of being adopted.

We're partnering with Greater Good Charities to transport nutritious, high quality pet food, beds and vaccinations to shelters and rescue groups nationwide.

As an added bonus, Freekibble and The Animal Rescue Site will match up to $10,000 in donations this GivingTuesday! 

Your donation will help dogs like Cassie and cats like Butterfly and Wozy.

Cassie

Cassie was pregnant when she was rescued from a breeder going out of business. 

Forever Yours Dog Rescue told us, "We knew that if we didn't step up, she would go to another breeder and spend her life as a breeder dog. We found an awesome foster for her, and she gave birth to six healthy pups! We need all the help we can get." 

Cassie and her pups love to snuggle on the donated pizza box bed. They will all be vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption. 

Butterfly

This sweet feline found herself in the El Reno Animal Shelter with a family of newborns and no home to call her own.

Thankfully a foster took her in and let her enjoy her babies with no worries in the world! Then, to show her appreciation this devoted mama stepped in to nurture a second litter, showcasing her boundless love and nurturing nature. 

Wozy

Wozy came from a very overcrowded animal shelter where he was nearing his time to be euthanized. 

Friends of Metro Animal Shelters took the handsome fella in and told us, "While Wozy is just about the most perfect kitten you could ever desire, he does have times where he needs time to himself." He finds comfort in the donated spaceship bed.  

Help bring some comfort and cheer to dogs and cats in shelters. They keep hearing that it is the most wonderful time of the year, so let's show them what that means.
