Owner Catches Guilty Golden Retriever Stealing An Apple

Having dogs around can be a lot of fun. They each have so much personality and even when they're being naughty, it's hard to stay mad at them for too long.

Just ask Janet Stahlman. She's the owner of a dog breeding company, JMS Goldens, in Webster, New York that specializes in golden retrievers.

If you're familiar with the breed, you know they can be a handful but in the best kind of way.

In a video shared on YouTube, Janet revealed that one of her dogs, Maddie, was being somewhat mischevious and had stolen an apple Janet was trying to eat!

Janet shared a video of the thief on YouTube with the caption, "Maddie my golden retriever steals my apple. Kinda didn't want it back after that. So she got to enjoy her theft prize!"

In the clip, you can see Maddie sitting there while nonchalantly holding an apple in her mouth. Janet says, "Maddie, did you steal my apple?...Can I have it back?...It's not a ball, it's an apple."

In the end, Janet does get the apple back but she's no longer interested in eating it. I can't say I blame her.

You can watch the hilarious moment unfold in the video below:

James and his blind brother, William, were found abandoned on the street when they were just four weeks old. James was born with one blind eye that started to cause him discomfort.
