You Helped Sick Puppies at Risk of Euthanasia Get Second Chance

Your donations of pet food and supplies through Greater Good Charities’ GOODS program are transforming the lives of shelter pets.

A litter of pit bull/ Boston terrier mix puppies were surrendered to an overcrowded shelter in Oklahoma. They attempted to get the puppies transported on one of Greater Good Charities’ Good Flights, but the puppies all contracted kennel cough.

The pups needed a rescue to take them in to help them recover. Tornado Alley Bulldog Rescue stepped up to help and told us, "That's when they needed a rescue's help to foster them for a month to become healthy and avoid euthanasia at the shelter!"

All the puppies recovered at a loving foster home and caught the next flight out of Oklahoma to Wisconsin. After they were all spayed or neutered, they found forever homes.

Your donations to Greater Good Charities’ GOODS program helped these adorable pups get the care they needed and provided the foster family with the supplies they needed to care for them.

One of the items that helped the puppies immensely was GREENIES Digestive Probiotic Supplement Powder. This along with nutritious dog food and proper care allowed the puppies to thrive.

The rescue shared, "The GOODS program has allowed fosters the ability to keep puppies like these without costing the rescue hundreds in food, supplements, and potty pads. We are so grateful for the donations."

GOODS lends a helping hand to overwhelmed shelters and rescues by sending much-needed pet food, treats, and supplies. Animal shelters are overflowing with adoptable pets but are struggling to find adopters. The Animal Rescue Site sponsors a Good Flight every month (Flight to Freedom) to help fly shelter dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia to shelters with open kennels and adopters waiting to meet them. Thank you for continuing to help us help pets in need.
