You're Helping Provide Happy Remaining Days to a Pup on Hospice Care

Tornado Alley Bulldog Rescue

A rescue pup that was adopted in time to live out her remaining days is living the high life, thanks to you.

Your clicks, trivia participation, shopping for a cause, and direct donations recently helped fund the delivery of comfort items to Tornado Alley Bulldog Rescue (TABR) in Oklahoma. This was through our partner Greater Good Charities’ GOODS program. Around the time of the arrival, Poppy the French bulldog had been brought into their network of foster homes.

After a veterinarian appointment, it was determined that the 7-year-old had a bad thyroid and early-stage congestive heart failure. That meant she was a hospice case, which led a dedicated volunteer to officially adopt her so she could have a comfortable remainder of her life, however long it happens to be.

SEND VITAL SUPPLIES TO ANIMAL SHELTERS

In her new forever home, TABR says she’s benefitted from donated treats, beds, and toys that “have helped her learn how to be a dog again!”

They add, “Now she lives out her days leading the way and showing new foster dog siblings how to do the same!”

You help provide the comfort and light that pets like Poppy need. Thank you! If you’d like to contribute more items like toys, beds, blankets, and treats to brighten a shelter pet’s day, click below!

Click to Help James

James and his blind brother, William, were found abandoned on the street when they were just four weeks old. James was born with one blind eye that started to cause him discomfort. Over time, that eye became increasingly painful and irritated. James is the seeing-eye cat for his brother, making his condition even more urgent to treat.
