Over 70 Shelter Pets Get Second Chance on Flight to Freedom

On July 21st, 43 dogs and 33 cats left behind the cages, uncertainty, and overcrowded shelters that had been their world for far too long.

As they boarded their Flight to Freedom, they weren't just traveling to a new destination - they were flying toward a future filled with hope. A future where they will finally know warm beds, gentle hands, full bowls, and the unconditional love every animal deserves.

The plane touched down in New Jersey and New Hampshire where smiling staff and volunteers greeted the excited dogs and cats.

This incredible journey was only possible because compassionate and generous people like you came together to give these animals the opportunity they've been waiting for.

All animals were transported back to the receiving shelters to settle in and get ready to meet adopters. Dogs like Lupin and Snoopy are ready to find their special someone, and we are sure they will soon find them.

St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center, one of the receiving shelters who took in 24 dogs, posted photos of their new intakes and wrote, " This morning, we were excited to welcome a plane full of adorable dogs and puppies ready for their next chapter."

Your continued support helps save lives. The monthly Flight to Freedom takes cats and dogs from overcrowded shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia due to lack of space, resources, and adopters and flies them to shelters with open kennels with adopters waiting to meet them.

We received the best gift - saving shelter pets - for our birthday. Thank you for your generosity.

Sadly, there are thousands more waiting in shelter across the country for a forever home. Donate now towards our next flight- Clear the Shelters.
