Open Skies and Second Chances — Over 50 Shelter Pets Land in New Jersey
Andrea Powell
59 homeless dogs and cats (41 dogs and 18 cats) went from hopelessly waiting to one step closer to finding the one they want to be hopelessly devoted to.
Thanks to your support of our Summer Lovin' Flight to Freedom, these animals left overcrowded shelters and will get a second chance to find a loving home in New Jersey.

The flight took off in the early morning hours of June 29 from Louisiana and the pet passengers landed in their new home state by the afternoon. Thanks to many volunteers and staff members from both the sending and receiving shelters, as well as the Good Flights crew, the animals were transported safely.

Tails were wagging as they met new friendly faces and all were thrilled to have their paws back on the ground. Look how happy Spaghetti and this fluffy pup are.

Meanwhile, Alexis is ready to find someone to treat her like the royalty she is.

The dogs and cats were taken to their new shelters to settle in and will be available for adoption in the coming days.

Summer nights never felt so good for these shelter pets. Your donations are saving lives, so thank you for your continued support!
Sadly, there are thousands more in shelters waiting for someone to adopt them. Help save more lives by donating towards our next flight.
