The Last Flight to Freedom of 2025 Lands Safely in New Jersey
Andrea Powell
On December 23, the Christmas wish of nearly 70 shelter dogs and cats was granted as they boarded the last Flight to Freedom of the year.

Your donations helped fly them to New Jersey to find loving homes. They landed safely on a winter day and experienced snow for the first time and met Santa Claus.

The receiving shelters sent their helpers full of Christmas cheer and dressed in Santa hats to welcome the good boys and girls.

St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center shared that some "lucky passengers are already curled up in warm, cozy homes, spending the holidays with loving families." Watch the video they shared of the dogs putting their paws in the snow for the first time.
Tommy and Boomer are sure to find a home soon, hopefully in time to ring in the new year with a new family. In the meantime, they are enjoying their new friends at the shelter and playing in the snow.

With your continued support, we hope to save even more shelter pets in 2026 with Flight to Freedom. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support this year that has already made a huge difference and saved countless lives.
Thank you to everyone who made this flight possible! Together, we CAN make a difference.
