California Library Uses Robots To Support Children With Autism

The world is changing rapidly as technology advances. While some people complain about certain advancements like the rise of social media and smartphones, there's no doubt that technology has made a positive effect in many ways.

The world could use more innovation to make things more accessible for everyone. It's incredible how advancements in technology have opened up new opportunities for people with disabilities. Take smartphones, for example. The introduction of touchscreens and voice recognition has made it easier for individuals with limited mobility to navigate and interact with their devices effortlessly.

Now, there's a new innovative device that's designed to help kids with autism.

The Santa Ana Public Library in Southern California is helping kids with autism through the use of robots!

The library shared about it on Facebook, saying:

"The Santa Ana Public Library is making waves in the community with our innovative use of robots to support children with autism in their learning journey."

They went on to say, "interactive robots are transforming education, providing personalized support, and fostering engagement and social skills development."

"We're proud to be at the forefront of technology and inclusion, making a positive impact on the lives of children with autism," they added.

CBS Evening News visited their library and put together a video showcasing one of the robots in action. Check out the video below:
