Mae Tao Clinic is Lifeline for Displaced Mothers and Children Near Volatile Thai/Myanmar Border

Since 2014, GreaterGood has been supporting Mae Tao Clinic (MTC) located in Thailand just a few miles from the volatile Myanmar border.
Millions fled from their homes into Thailand due to the 2021 military coup in Myanmar and ongoing fighting at the border.
MTC has been and continues to be a lifeline for mothers, newborns, and children of Burmese immigrants and displaced communities. They provide vital medical care that has helped safely birth thousands of babies and continue to care for children through boarding schools.

Countless lives have been saved thanks to your support, and we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity.
Tim Kunin, CEO and Co-Founder of GreaterGood, recently visited the clinic to reconnect with staff and volunteers who have become friends and meet some of the people who lives have been changed.

Your donations are making a difference. MTC shared, " We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Kunin family, through Greater Good Charities, for more than a decade of generous support to Mae Tao Clinic. This support has strengthened maternal and newborn health services, provided dry food assistance for boarding house students, and enabled timely emergency responses, including earthquake response and broader humanitarian assistance."

They go on to say how the partnership has helped save lives, "Through this long-term commitment, thousands of mothers and newborns have received essential care at MTC during some of the most challenging periods of their lives."

The need is still great as the clinic continues to expand and help more people. Your support means the world to them and us. You can help by clicking daily, shopping, and donating here to fund Mae Tao Clinic and their life-saving work.
