Over 50 Lucky Shelter Pets Land in New Jersey for Second Chance
Andrea Powell
The luck of the Irish was with over fifty shelter dogs and cats as they departed overcrowded shelters in Louisiana and Alabama to find forever homes in New Jersey.
In the early morning hours on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and breeds boarded this month's Flight to Freedom. Their caretakers said goodbye and wished the animals well on their next adventure.

The flight touched down in New Jersey where volunteers and staff from receiving shelters where eagerly waiting their arrival. They were safely transported back to their new shelters to settle in.

Dogs like Molly who are heartworm positive will receive treatment before being adopted. All the good boys and girls will quickly find loving homes, some as soon as this week.

It is only good luck from here on out for them. Your donations changed their lives, thank you!

These crucial flights are only possible with your continued support. Donate today to help fund more flights and save lives.
