Rescue Dog "Terrified" Of Men Falls In Love With His Owner's Boyfriend
Rescuing a dog with a troubled past is a big commitment. Even when given love and a gentle home, it can take a lot for a traumatized dog to overcome his past.
When adopting a dog from another country, especially, you never quite know how they'll react or adjust to life in their new home.
One woman in the United Kingdom decided to take a risk and adopt a dog from Ukraine, and she was unsure about it at first. That dog, Ditta, proved to overcome his past and is now the sweetest dog!
Ditta's owner shared on Instagram that he was found in Ukraine just one month before the war began. He was abandoned on the streets with eight other puppies who caught Parvo Virus and died. Somehow, though, Ditta survived life on the streets long enough for a rescue to save him.
After being rescued, Ditta was placed with his new mama in the United Kingdom, and he made the trip to his new forever home.

While the rescue told his new mama that Ditta was afraid of men, he ended up falling in love with the woman's boyfriend!
She shared a sweet video on TikTok, and it wasn't long before it went viral and amassed thousands of views on different social media platforms.
"Thinking I would regret adopting a dog from Ukraine who is terrified of men," Ditta's owner wrote in the text overlay.
In the video, you can see Ditta greeting her owner's boyfriend, and he simply can't contain himself! He wiggles from pure excitement and can't seem to stop. It's absolutely adorable to watch.
