This is Baloo. He was found sometime in 2024 with a severe injury to his left leg. He was brought to our local veterinary hospital, which also serves as a rescue for lost animals. It is believed he may have been hit by a car, causing the devastating injury.

Veterinarians determined that his leg could not be surgically repaired and that amputation was the only option. After his surgery and recovery, Baloo was placed up for adoption.

Baloo is the best cat ever and the most loving pet in return. He gets around perfectly fine with only one back leg — it doesn’t slow him down one bit. We are so glad he found his forever home with us and his extended furry family. 💖
