I went there for Stormy, but while I was inside taking care of him, my boyfriend was outside. Someone dropped off a kitten at the adoption center, and they gave my boyfriend the kitten and a bag of food. He told me, "We are taking this cat home."

So, I ended up with two cats.

Stormy eventually started acting sick. He was sneezing and flinging mucus around, and later he began having accidents everywhere. After my boyfriend and I broke up, I started noticing just how bony Stormy had become. Sadly, he eventually passed away.

I kept the kitten and renamed her Lily after my boyfriend left. She grew into a very loving kitty and became my best buddy.

Now, seven years later, Lily is still by my side.
