Shy, Cautious Older Kitten Needs Home Before He's Forgotten Amid Kitten Season

The growing TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) movement is a hope-enriching, health-helping, community-caring movement that is truly making saving many more lives possible. It is thrilling that many more compassionate people are getting involved, especially considering many of them are not entrenched in animal welfare now! Neighborhood animal advocates are working to help the cats that call their area home reach health and wellness services that they may not access otherwise.

Ramsey's mom cleverly picked the purrfect patio to have her litter of kittens on. She knew she needed help, and she also seemed to know her kittens could have a different life. She was right; the patio she picked belonged to someone who would help her receive TNR for herself and get her kittens into a foster home once ready to leave their mama cat.

Ramsey, Roxie, and Rambo did require a lot of care, as some kittens do when they come from a mom who never received any veterinary care and who had to scour for food. Ramsey's sister Roxie led this sibling trio into adventures, including adoption. Now the brothers are left to try to follow her lead. Ramsey's guarded habits are relaxing as he meets more and more people in our Adoption Center, but he can still feel the need to take cover when he is unsure.

Careful kitties just have a harder time getting adopted, but they are usually the ones that have a closer bond with their humans, given the chance. We are experiencing wide open flood gates already for kitten season here, and we need help for our fabulous feline teenagers like Ramsey so that they find homes while still young and not forgotten by the time the wee ones go up for adoption.

Here's Ramsey's adoption profile:

Ramsey is ready to find a forever home that is ready to love his cute, growing 10 month old little self! Ramsey is a little shy and cautious all mixed into one! Though he will hide in unfamiliar situations, once he feels safe, he loves belly rubs on your lap for hours. He loves to play and wrestle with his siblings and is very quick on his feet. He has a beautiful buff coat, and eyes that will warm your heart.

He has no exposure to dogs, but he is good with cats and kittens. He also loves toys, so if he is your pick for the purrfect new family member, start buying them now because this handsome one is ready!

If you think you can provide Ramsey a forever toy haven, apply to adopt him here! You can also find the link to his brother Rambo's page from there.
