This is River, also known as River Rat. She is eight years old now.

My boyfriend and a friend were fishing by the river when they heard a noise. At first, they thought it might be a fawn. But the sound grew louder and closer, so they went to investigate.

When they reached the riverbank, they saw her — a tiny kitten, only four to five weeks old, climbing up the bank. She was frantic but immediately ran straight to them.

My boyfriend called me, and I went there right away. The rest is history. 🤗
