Someone I used to work with has a family that breeds Shih Tzus. Simon had been returned to them twice, and no one knew why.

We had lost our dog months earlier, and my former coworker talked to his parents. They said that if we wanted Simon, he was ours at no charge.

He has been with us ever since.

Simon is about 6 years old. He is goofy and lovable. If you say, “Excuse me,” he moves out of the way. He loves to play with his toys, and everyone he meets says how cute he is. He wants everyone to pet him, and he likes everyone he meets.

We love him to death. He is definitely family.

Click to Help James

James and his blind brother, William, were found abandoned on the street when they were just four weeks old. James was born with one blind eye that started to cause him discomfort. Over time, that eye became increasingly painful and irritated. James is the seeing-eye cat for his brother, making his condition even more urgent to treat.
