Ziti the Pasta Pup is Ready to Be a Saucy Addition to a New Home

An abandoned nursing mom with nine pups, all too common this year especially, is how this story begins. Abandonment put mama dog into survival mode! Seeing them in need of help and support, thankfully a very kind person rescued the family and they went into foster care all together.

Mama dog did a great job of protecting, raising, and nurturing her pups that were 4 weeks old at the time of rescue. Thankfully, mama dog was adopted by the rescuer once puppies were weaned and mom spayed.

Ziti may be listed as a German Shepherd blend, but deep down she's got the heart and personality of a Labrador! She's remarkably fast, over-the-top smart, and is extraordinarily people-oriented. We could totally see her excelling at agility or other similar activities. She's friendly, social, cute as a button, and just a wonderful girl.

Ziti is already doing very well with her training, as she is super food motivated and she gets along great with other dogs. She is crate trained now and knows "sit", "down," and "crate" or "go to your home," as well as "spin" and "shake!" Like all puppies, she will benefit from continued proper training so she grows into an amazing family dog.

Ziti is now 4 months old, and we know that if she is adopted soon, her adopter will bond with her and she will work hard to continue on her ambitions training path.

She is the last Pasta Pup looking for a forever home, as all of her siblings have been adopted. We need help for this beautiful, large-eared girl, that loves
to please her persons!
