Scared Dog and Cat Found in Bombed Ukraine Home
Andrea Powell
In a bombed village in Ukraine, rescuers found them waiting — a dog and a cat, alive against all odds in the wreckage of a destroyed home. Hungry, frightened, and surrounded by devastation, they had somehow held on.
Every boom from nearby bombs sent them hiding, but then they saw what they have been waiting so long for - people coming to their rescue.

Krystina (owner of Under the Sun) and Lala (owner of 12 Guards) saved them and held them tight on the treacherous roads back to safety.

They are finally safe but will need to recover physically from malnutrition and emotionally from the trauma they endured.

With your continued support, these sweet animals will get the food and care they need to survive and thrive.
Donate today to help feed and care for them and many other rescued animals at Under the Sun Shelter.
