Senior Cat Surrendered to Rescuers as Owner Fled War Zone
Andrea Powell
People and pets in Ukraine are still evacuating as the war continues. Bombs rain down from the sky destroying villages forcing people to leave the only home they have ever known.
Animal rescuers enter the dangerous areas to save dogs and cats. During one rescue mission a woman approached rescuers carrying a cat in her arms.

She said that she could not take the cat named Bounty with her and she wanted him to go somewhere safe. He arrived at Patron Pet Center and was evaluated by the medical team.

The senior feline was in poor health suffering from dental and kidney problems. He was immediately started on treatment.

Thanks to your generous donations, he is feeling much better. After extensive therapy, Bounty underwent tooth extraction and neutering. His health has returned and he is ready to find a new loving home.

More Help is Needed
For the past four years, rescuers have been saving animals from the frontlines in Ukraine - and will continue to do so as long as the war continues. There are so many mouths to feed and animals to care for.
Rescuers and shelters need your support to care for all the dogs and cats. Your continued support will feed and care for evacuated animals. Donate today to help save more lives.
