Shelter Pets Are The Winners Of Shelter Bowl With Over 3 Million Meals Donated

We asked for your help to fund 3 million meals for shelter pets during our 2024 Shelter Bowl, and you delivered in a big way.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us fund 3.24 million meals for hungry shelter pets across the country. We exceeded our goal thanks to your support and the partnership with Boehringer Ingelheim and Hill’s Pet Nutrition.

Overcrowded shelters are in need of a helping hand, and this will go a long way in feeding and caring for homeless animals.

But that's not all...

The two featured shelters, Wayside Waifs in Kansas City and Berkeley Humane Society near San Francisco, each received a grant for $10,000, 1,000 doses of Nexgard Plus, and one million meals of Hill's Pet Nutrition.

Wayside Waifs congratulated their hometown team on their win and shared some exciting news with their fans. "Today during a special event, Wayside Waifs received a $10,000 grant, a million pet meals, and 1,000 doses of NexGard® PLUS (afoxolaner, moxidectin, and pyrantel chewable tablets) to celebrate Shelter Bowl IX. The event also featured a “pet sport court” with pet football toys for adoptable and adorable dogs to play and run in."

Berkeley Humane Society is thankful for all the support and encourages everyone to adopt.

In the eyes of shelter pets across the country, you are their champion. They will have full bellies and receive all the care they need until they find a loving home.

Send some more love to shelter pets in the forms of treats and toys with a Fur Baby Valentine.
