Man Rescues Stray Dog Found Eating From A Trash Can
When Asher from The Asher House in Oregon heard about a dog that needed help, he didn't hesitate to jump in.
Asher shared on YouTube that a Good Samaritan found a dog eating out of a trash can. The poor pup was bone-thin and the person knew he needed help.
The Good Samaritan was able to get a leash on the stray pup, now named Sunny. The person helped get some weight back on Sunny, but they couldn't keep the pittie pup forever. They called The Asher House to ask what to do.
Asher explained that a pittie breed in Sunny's condition would likely be euthanized if he went to a regular shelter. He didn't want to see that happen, so he agreed to take Sunny.
While Sunny was no longer bone-thin, he was still a bit shy and unsure of people. Beyond that, he was also deaf!
The Asher House is home to a pack of rescued dogs, and Asher wanted to introduce Sunny to see how he'd fit in.
He started the introduction ever so slowly, and Sunny proved to be incredibly sweet!
Not only did Sunny end up enjoying the other dogs, but they liked him as well. And the sweet dog even got along great with humans. Asher described him as being incredibly loving and cuddly.
We're so happy Sunny found a loving place to call home! Check out the video below:
