Ukraine Dog Rescued After Spending Two Years Alone Near Front Lines

Meet Lucky.

This poor dog survived two years on her own near the front lines in Ukraine before finally being rescued. She spent countless nights hungry and alone cowering in fear in a damaged shed to stay safe.

United for Animals (UfA) shared her rescue story with us. They said that their rescue partners "12 Vartovykh," were in the area after a recent bombing and found the poor dog. They took her in and immediately gave her nutritious food - thanks to your donations- and provided the medical care she needed.

She was rescued from the "nightmare" she has been living for the past couple years. Over the next few months, she was socialized and slowly regained her strength.

They appropriately named her "Lucky" and wanted her to get the second chance she deserved. Thanks to the help of many individuals, her story has a happy ending.

Lucky has left Ukraine and her painful past behind her for a new life in France with a loving family.

She is living her best life surrounded by people who love her. UfA shared that your donations are helping many dogs. "Along with her, more than a dozen other dogs have also found better lives. Thanks to your support, we’re able to change the lives of animals, giving them a chance for a brighter future."

Your donations are saving lives. Donate now to help feed more homeless animals in Ukraine.
