Woman Travels The World With Her Cat After Escaping The War In Ukraine

If there is one thing that is universal, it's the love that we have for the cats in our family.

Once we have one, we couldn't imagine living life without one. In fact, many of us will get more than one cat because there's just too much love to go around.

When we have a feline in our family, they are there for everything that our family goes through. This includes the good times and the bad times, as illustrated in the following video.

The video, from The Dodo, is about Simba and her human mother, Jennifer Shyshkina. They certainly were going through some difficult times together when living in Ukraine, but they were able to escape the war together.

That is when they landed in the South of France on the French Riviera. It was a beautiful time for both of them, not because of the war but because of the traveling that they are now doing.

Jennifer shared being in France on Instagram and though they had some hardships to get there, they were happy.

In the video with The Dodo, Shyshkina talks about how she found Simba on the streets in 2021 and adopted her. Since that time, they have been there for each other through thick and thin.

It did take some time before Simba got used to being outdoors, but she did learn how to walk on a leash. Since she had that ability, it made it easier for them to escape the war and get to a new country. Now they travel regularly and see the world together.

I love to write and it keeps me busy. I've been working online, full time since 1999. When you can't find me at the keyboard, you'll find me getting as much as I can out of life. I enjoy living simply, playing games, visiting the beach, and spending time with my family.

James and his blind brother, William, were found abandoned on the street when they were just four weeks old. James was born with one blind eye that started to cause him discomfort. Over time, that eye became increasingly painful and irritated. James is the seeing-eye cat for his brother, making his condition even more urgent to treat.
