Brave individuals like Krystina with Ukraine War Animals Relief Fund (UWARF) risk their lives daily to save animals left behind near the frontlines.

She puts the needs of these innocent animals before her own and does her best to save them all. Calls for help continue to come in and the rescue team heads out on the war-torn roads to save more animals.

One of the recent missions involved dogs who were abandoned by their owner and left chained outside without food or water.

The small dogs were so relieved when they saw rescuers and their tails never stopped wagging. The first dog was literally jumping for joy as help arrived while a black and white dog clung to Krystina.

She said, "The babies looked exhausted, but they still looked with hope in their eyes. And we rescued them!"

Click to Help James

James and his blind brother, William, were found abandoned on the street when they were just four weeks old. James was born with one blind eye that started to cause him discomfort. Over time, that eye became increasingly painful and irritated. James is the seeing-eye cat for his brother, making his condition even more urgent to treat.
