The dog we are calling Taras had a rough start to life. He was found in a war zone on a chain with an empty belly and fear in his eyes. He was rescued by Krystina - who with your support - provided the care and food he needed to heal. 

He arrived emaciated, missing fur, and in need of time and space to learn to trust again. After months of dedicated care by Under the Sun Shelter staff, he transformed into the sweet and happy pup he was always meant to be.

He regained weight, his fur grew back, and hope returned to his eyes. Krystina's goal is to find each rescued dog a loving home. 

She was able to find the perfect family for Taras far away from the war and destruction in the Netherlands. 

Taras is thriving in his new home and spends his days going on adventures with his family to visit the iconic windmills and to the park. He has made many new friends, including a cat.
