Burge Bird Rescue

Fans of Critter Camp Exotic Pet Sanctuary and The Gabriel Foundation are supporting our cause in this round so the prize money can help even more animals.About Burge Bird Rescue: Pet birds are the third most commonly kept companion animal after dogs and cats. Burge Bird Rescue helps find new homes for 300 to 400 birds a year, ranging from parakeets to macaws, sparrows to pigeons, chickens to ducks. We are a no-kill shelter and often take in birds from other area shelters that are unable to care for them. No animal is ever turned away for health issues. We have worked with numerous animal control agencies and disaster response teams to save birds from neglect, hoarding, hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods.
