2nd Annual Paws in Peril Care-A-Thon: Provide Critical Emergency Care for Animals in Need

Mavis was surrendered to a nearby shelter after a dog attack left her with horrible injuries. Left untreated for over a week, her wounds grew so infected that deep tissue became necrotic.

Mavis went into emergency surgery to remove the dead tissue and release the infection from her abdomen. Tubes were then placed to continue the drainage of her wounds. Once in foster care, she managed to get out of her medical cone and chewed her front leg to the bone. 

This leg requires amputation, then physical therapy will help Mavis adjust to life on three legs before adoption. Will you help her recover from her injuries so she can find her forever family?
