Items that you help provide include a bowl for food or water. Bowls get dirty, and worn out, so more are always needed. A bag of treats helps with training and provide a tasty snack. Blankets and toys bring comfort and encourage play for a dog or pup. Collars and leashes aid in training, and keep dogs safe on walks. All of these resources together help support a happy dog; and a happy dog is much more likely to be adopted!

Miley Cyrus, a 1-year-old Carolina dog, came to HSPPR as a stray. She was very nervous after she first arrived. With behavior support and a new blanket to keep her comfy and secure, she blossomed into a happy, social girl who no longer hid at the back of her kennel, and she found a new home. HSPPR staff and animals were so excited to receive all of the items donated and put them into action around the shelters in Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

This sweet little pup received care and got to go to his new home with some goodies that he loved. The Austin Animal Center is grateful for all the items sent to them.

Biggie went to Souixland Animal Rescue and became a polite, socialized dog. He loved playing with his toys in playgroups with other dogs and had lots of time with humans to help be a friendly boy. He is now adopted and his owners love him very much.
