This solar bird feeder is pretty but has several flaws. First the hopper is plastic which means the squirrels will chew through it eventually. Second, you must unscrew the top to refill it and there are several flimsy washers that I'm sure won't hold up. In addition, in order to put the top back on, you need to line it up with the rod while making sure the washers stay in place. Third, the channels where the food is supposed to flow down into the base are very narrow so I had to buy very small finch food because the peanut pieces in my other 2 foods would jam up. Finally, the solar lights are very small and don't really light up that much. I would not recommend.
