Urgent Need: Kentucky and neighboring states battered by one-two punch of flooding and extreme cold

At least 14 are dead and thousands are displaced as a bone-chilling winter storm continues to batter the region.

Roads in nearly all 120 counties in Kentucky were impacted by devastating flooding and mudslides. Some towns are completely submerged underwater as rescue missions continue. 

Underfunded animal shelters are overwhelmed with the influx of displaced and lost pets and might have to euthanize shelter dogs due to lack of space and resources. They need our help! 

Greater Good Charities is on the ground, actively working with partners in impacted areas to assess the need so that we can assist however necessary. Currently, they are distributing emergency kits to families in need as well as pet food to shelters. As this crisis develops, we will continue to provide aid where it is needed most.
