I bought these as my base layer to wear in very north Canada. I was out, most nights where the temp. was -20 and these worked wonderful (under winter/ski-type gear). Did not need an additional layer. SO soft - they're like wearing a plush animal. I took the advice on another review and bought 1 size up which worked great but if you are tiny/thin I would suggest buying your real size since they don't run too small; just a bit. Waist-band is high-rise and really wide. Never rolled down. If these came in different colors I would buy another or two since I live in New England and these would work great.

I ordered these in the gray, size medium love them. They are soft, warm but not too warm. They run small and seem a little short too. See photos

I ordered a pair in the black and when I tried them on I didn't take them off. I'm 5'2 and about 143lbs. I ordered the 2xl and by no means are they big. I like my pants to fit but not be confining.I probably would fit in the XL but I think they would be too form fitting for me. As for the length I tucked the bottoms under about 2-3 inches. The fleece inside is extra soft, thin(so you don't look 10 lbs heavier)and very warm. Two more pairs are out for delivery, just love these pants. So soft and comfortable I plan on using a pair to sleep in. Also washed very well, only dried half cycle.
