Indi was surrendered after her owners could no longer provide the care she needed. Months earlier, she had fractured her femur and was left with a dislocated hip, making it difficult for her to move comfortably. Because she was nursing kittens at the time of her injury, surgery had to be delayed.
By the time Indi came into rescue, she was pregnant again and needed time to safely give birth and care for her new litter before beginning treatment. Once she is stable, veterinarians will perform surgery and restore function to her leg.
Following surgery, Indi will remain under close supervision as she regains strength and mobility. Your support can help ensure she continues receiving the care and monitoring needed to heal and walk again without pain.
