Sweet Daisy was diagnosed with pyometra, a serious and potentially life-threatening infection of the uterus. The only viable treatment option to avoid further complication is surgery to remove the uterus. Doctors have started Daisy on antibiotics and pain medication to keep her infection at bay while she awaits surgery.
