We need your help with a heartbreaking and infuriating abuse case involving over twenty dogs in St. Louis.

A heartless man was observed ruthlessly beating his dogs with a wooden board, bat, and other objects. He was reported and local officials and animal control arrived to rescue the innocent dogs.

Twenty-two mistreated dogs so terrified of humans that they pretended to be asleep when rescuers approached. There were living in unsanitary conditions and malnourished as well as scared from the repeated abuse.

They are finally safe at a local shelter but have a long and expensive road to recovery ahead.

These dogs have never known a kind touch or experienced love. They associate humans with pain and suffering.

Their physical wounds are being treated while their emotional ones will take longer to heal.

As soon as the dogs realized they were safe, they curled up on blankets - for the first time in their life - and fell asleep.
