Meet Jasper

This poor fox spent his entire life in a tiny wire cage unable to move around. He was repeatedly bred and has never experienced any kindness. He is one of millions that are mistreated and suffering due to the cruel fur trade.

He was born into a life of suffering and is one of the few to make it past their first birthday. Many are cruelly killed once their winter coat comes in.

Jasper was saved but has a long road to recovery. He could barely walk when he was rescued and was suffering from years of neglect.

The four years he spent in the cramped cage have taken a toll on his body resulting in chronic arthritis and infection.

His pain is being managed with medication and dedicated holistic veterinary care.

Jasper deserves to experience love and live the rest of his life pain free in a natural environment. Donate now to help him get the care he needs.

While the industry has seen a decline in recent years thanks to consumers, retailers, and designers no longer using fur and bans on fur sales and production worldwide, there are still too many animals being mistreated.

February 16-22 is National Justice for Animals Week to raise awareness about animal abuse and a reminder that animals need us to be their voice.

The Humane Society International shares why fur farming is so cruel. "Animals bred for their fur such as foxes, rabbits, raccoon dogs and mink are confined in small, barren, wire cages for their entire lives. Unable to express their basic natural behaviors such as digging, roaming large territories and, for semi-aquatic mink, swimming and diving, these naturally active and curious animals have been shown to display the stereotypical behavior of mental distress such as repeated pacing and circling inside their cages. Such confined spaces can also result in animals self-mutilating and fighting with their cage mates."
